  1. Agency option (agency-managed)

    1. Select, schedule, and manage your attendants and substitutes, with input from you about your needs.

    2. Set wages and benefits for your attendants.

    3. Manage timesheets, payroll, and employment records.

  2. Service responsibility option (co-managed)

    1. If you choose SRO, you or your designated representative:

      1. interview and select your attendants;

      2. train and supervise your attendants; and

      3. set schedules for your attendants.

    2. Your provider agency:

      1. Provides you with good applicants to interview, if you like.

      2. Hires your attendant.

      3. Sends a substitute if other plans fall through.

      4. Sets wages and benefits for your attendants.

      5. Manages timesheets, payroll, and employment records.

    3. SRO is available in Bexar County as well as the Panhandle and South Plains regions of the state in these programs:

      1. Community Attendant Services (CAS)

      2. Family Care (FC)

      3. Primary Home Care (PHC)

  3. Consumer Directed Services employer (self-managed)

    1. Who Provides Services

      1. You recruit, hire, manage, train, and fire your employee.

      2. Family, friends, and neighbors can be hired.
